What information we would collect to run a Daily Grand account, why, and the choices you have.

1. Who is responsible

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), 74 West Seymour Street, Kamloops, BC, V2C 1E2, Canada, would be responsible for personal information collected through the service.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: name, date of birth, address, email and password.
  • Verification data: the government-issued ID you upload to confirm age and residency.
  • Play data: the lines you buy, results and prize records.
  • Technical data: device, browser and approximate location, used to confirm you are in B.C. and to keep accounts secure.

3. How we use it

We would use your information to open and run your account, confirm you are eligible to play, process plays and prizes, meet legal and regulatory obligations, prevent fraud, and provide support. Marketing messages would only be sent with your consent, and you could opt out at any time.

4. Identity verification

Confirming your age and B.C. residency is a regulatory requirement. The ID you provide is used for that purpose and is handled with appropriate safeguards. It is not used for marketing.

The service is not for anyone under 19. We do not knowingly collect information from people under that age. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
